Protecting Our Residents
As a former City Council member, Richard is proud to have supported the Green Fire Department and Summit County Sheriff by voting for needed resources. Richard will continue to support our public safety personnel and give them needed resources to keep us safe.
Building Strong Families
Strong families are the foundation of a healthy society. Richard brought his family to the City of Green in 2009. They came to Green for the quality schools and small-town feel that the City of Green offers to all residents. On Council, he worked to preserve a family-first focus and avoid making Green into just another big city in Ohio.
Cherishing Our Parks
As a City Council Member, Richard chaired the Environment & Parks Committee for 4 years. Richard knows the value of parks to residents and their well-being. He supports direct investment and partnering with state and federal organizations to make our parks accessible to all Residents

No New Taxes
Green Residents are feeling financial pressures on many fronts. Local taxes should not be one of them. I pledge to vote against new taxes, increases in tax rates and new tax levies.
Fiscally Responsible
Unnecessary projects and inflation have greatly increased the costs of running the City of Green in recent years. On Council, I voted against projects for which the costs outweighed the benefits.

There are many cities in our area struggling with a heavy load of debt from making poor choices. Keeping debt, expenses and our taxes low is what inspired me to serve Residents on Green City Council.
